On Boobs...

First of all, what the fuck is wrong with wanting attention sometimes? For the wrong reasons it may not be all that healthy, but other than that, who the fuck cares? Jesus! It’s like wanting to be looked at and desired is wrong, and hey, it’s not! It’s just fucking annoying when people associate your large breast size with the size of your brain, as in: you must not have one if you have tits.

BREASTS ARE NATURAL. At least, most are and they serve a purpose! If men and crazy Puritans wouldn’t make such a huge motherfuckin’ deal about them then this wouldn’t be an issue. I’m sorry my tits turn you on, this does not excuse bad behavior on your part. Girl on girl crime is the worst about this though. A girl’s boobs are hanging out: oh she must be a slut, or has nothing interesting to say or whatever. Why don’t we stop thinking women are solely for one purpose or another? I can be smart, sexy, voluptuous, well-spoken, sarcastic and sweet all at once! I know, shocking!

I’m just so tired of this bullshit.

Because I’m unbelievably vain and narcissistic… me! MM took this of me last night and I think it’s pretty awesome. I have no idea what I’m doing though, laughing maybe.
And in the interest of honesty: I pay a lot of money for that color hair.

foodinmouth:

earlier sarah posted about some woman having her 18th kid and how she thinks the world is overpopulated. Who here has read Freakonomics? They did a study that showed abortion reduced crime because it reduced the number of unwanted kids who grow up to be criminals.

Here is the question:

Today the magic powers of tumblr makes you the supreme commander of whatever country you currently reside.

Would the pragmatic nature of legalized abortion be enough for you to support a woman’s right to an abortion? And since this is a discussion about CRIME, if you do not believe such a pragmatic solution is morally justified in your realm of good and evil, HOW would you go about reducing crime?

It’s Friday, what else are you doing besides reading Tumblr? Go.

Legalized abortion is pragmatic for many, many reasons. And I’ve never read Freakonomics but that is an interesting take on abortion, reducing crime. Legalizing abortion makes abortion not a crime — obvious. But my point: if abortion was illegal, it would be a crime, there would be women in prison for getting abortions, doctors in prison for performing abortions and others who assisted could end up imprisoned as well. I need to look it up, but a while ago I posted a story about El Salvador where ALL abortions are illegal. No matter what the circumstance, what the danger of the pregnancy is or anything. Women in El Salvador are thrown into jail for many years for obtaining abortions. But what happens to the fathers? Usually nothing. No surprise there. Imprisoning women is not “pro-life”.

Another thing to mention, those that would be most susceptible to be being imprisoned for an abortion would be those who could not afford to travel outside the country to obtain a termination, so the crime would really only be a crime for poor people. The privileged could travel outside the US to obtain the service.

Abortion is pragmatic as well because it prevents unwanted children from being brought into a very crowded world. Resources are dwindling and the expense of raising a child is going up. I also have some very strong views on fertility treatments — you could spend those thousands you use to produce your own biological child to adopt a child that desperately needs a home. But that’s another argument for another time. Once again, being lazy, but 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 children in our country live in poverty. Not saying we should not try to help these children, but why should more enter into this arena? Also, how practical and pragmatic is it for a 12 year old to give birth? Not very. Another reason abortion should never be illegal, many young girls who end up pregnant get that way because of rape, incest, molestation.

I understand people’s moral objection to abortion — so don’t you get one. But making it a crime is impractical and cruel. I didn’t even go into how many women would die from botched and unsafe procedures.

ohnotheydidnt: Jamie Lynn Desperate To Regain Figure
Normally I wouldn’t post celeb stuff, but as a ONTD addict, this amused me:
“But Jamie Lynn won’t hiring a personal trainer. ‘You don’t have to pay somebody a bunch of money to make you skinny again. If you want to be skinny, you have to do it yourself. And I love to swim, so I know I’ll be doing a lot of that.’”
No JL, you do not have to pay someone a bunch of money to be skinny again, but you know what helps? BEING 17 WHEN YOU GET PREGNANT. I had a couple friends end up up the stick early on in life and their body’s bounced back with remarkable speed. Ah, to be a teenager again…
This leads me into a different discussion but one I’ve talked about with a friend recently: biology is a cruel irony. Our bodies do best in pregnancy when we’re younger, the baby is more likely to be healthy and your pregnancy is usually easier (not always I know) but of course you’re not prepared to be a parent: financially, mentally, emotionally — duh. As you get older, well it gets harder and the chance for complications goes up, and superficially: it is harder to get your pre-baby body back. Modern science can only take us so far… File Under: things I really wish I didn’t have to think about.

Pet hate: chicks who complain about the attention they get from guys yet who are constantly showing off their cleavage.

It’s just something i will never understand. Especially when they dress in a way that makes it seem like they think their tits will shrivel up and fall off if they dont get air. I mean, if you get your tits out all the time people will look. Even i will look. And you know what? I don’t want to look. It just makes me think that these chicks are insecure and gagging for attention.

Exceptions, obviously, are if you’re going for a night out on the town where everyone is a bit underdressed (cause they want to pick up, obviously.)

I don’t really care who stares at my chest, but may I say: when you have large breasts, covering them up makes you look larger than you are. Large breasts are frustrating because most clothes are not cut for real women, and yes, V-necks are your friend. Not gagging for attention: just wanting to look petite even though I have a larger chest. What annoys me: people caring that I show off my cleavage and acting like it has anything at all to do with them.

There’s absolutely no reason to take seriously someone who says, ‘I believe it because I believe it.’ God either exists or he doesn’t. It’s a matter of the truth.

Who’s this hottie that I just got a page from? Anyone know who owns that fire?
In case anyone thought I was serious: this is a friend of mine. I’m making fun of him, should have never allowed me access to this picture.

Last picture, promise. And I learned something new today! MM used to sail and taught me that when there is a dark spot in the water, it’s where the wind is and it’s dark because the ripples don’t reflect the sun as well. At least that’s my best summation of my lesson in boating after 2 vodka and lemonades.
