I agree that sex predators and awful, deplorable sex offenders deserve to have intense sanctions on them, but I feel bad for people like this woman and other such people who had minor offenses as youths.

There was a story of a couple of Westminster (a K-12 private school) kids in Atlanta who went streaking at Lovett (their rival K-12 private school) after graduation or something and a class of elementary students happened to be outside during this time and saw the teenagers. Those boys were arrested and will be listed as sex offenders for exposing themselves to children and this will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Was it stupid? Yes. Do they deserve that status? No, of course not.
